This report is devoted to research of the current state of titanium dioxide market in the CIS and a forecast of its development.
The report consists of 6 parts, contains 94 pages, including 24 figures, 29 tables and annex.
First chapter of the report includes information on methods of obtaining titanium dioxide
and its use in industrial raw materials,
analysis of locations and raw materials volume supply to producers.
Second chapter is devoted to analysis of titanium dioxide production for the period from 1998 to 2007 in the CIS.
The section contains data on the volume of production.
Production dynamics for those products is traced for companies of Ukraine and Russia.
The current state of titanium dioxide producers in the CIS is also discussed.
Moreover, the data on available raw materials, production volumes, companies' development plans, as well as data on the volume and location of supply of products in recent years is provided.
The third chapter deals with foreign trade operations of titanium dioxide in Russia and Ukraine with an analysis of the volume and locations of export and import shipments.
The fourth chapter is devoted to analysis of price dynamics of titanium dioxide in the domestic and foreign markets.
Fifth part describes the market of titanium dioxide consumption in Russia and Ukraine.
In depth analysis of product's consumption structure is provied including its balance of "production-consumption".
An overview of the major industries consuming titanium dioxide is also given.
In the sixth chapter report provides a forecast of market development of titanium dioxide for the period up to 2015
The annex contains the addresses and contact information of major company-producers of titanium dioxide in the CIS.
This report is a "desktop" study which involved reviewing many sources of information, particularly data of state bodies - the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, CIS countries (indicators of production), OAO Russian Railways (statistics of rail transport) Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation and Ukraine SCC (data on foreign trade operations).
Our own database was also used.
All of the above enabled the authors to identify a clear picture of the market for titanium dioxide in the CIS/Russia and its prospects.
